Software Engineering Intern

The Role

Ship core product features alongside our founding engineers—voice + vision tutoring loops, realtime LLM orchestration, and the infra that keeps sessions sub-second.

Expect to spec, build, and launch end-to-end projects: agents that manage lesson plans, memory systems that persist across weeks, or UI that helps tutors debug cognition in real time.

What you'll do

• Build realtime tutoring interfaces that display cognition and suggested interventions.
• Develop lesson-plan agents that adjust pacing based on student progress.
• Optimize LLM infrastructure to maintain sub-second latency while managing context and tool use.
• Create internal debugging tools for transcript replay and model comparison.

What we're looking for

• Proficiency in TypeScript/Node, Python, or similar with stack-wide curiosity.
• Demonstrated shipping experience through school projects, internships, open-source, or hackathons.
• Ability to work with infrastructure-as-code, APIs, and LLM tools.
• Self-directed learning mindset with receptiveness to feedback and rapid iteration.
